Dwalyn Blake "aka" Synseer was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. As a child Synseer had a love for the Arts and had big dreams of one day becoming a performing and recording artist. Synseer admits that he wasn't too talented as a child and people didn't have a problem letting him know that, but he didn't let that stop him. His strong passion for music motivated him to work hard on developing his craft. Synseer's voice began to develop into an amazing vocal instrument during his high school years. During this period he began to write his own music, and continued to perfect his gift as a rapper.
Synseer also caught the "acting bug" as a child, being brought up in a Church where he was constantly involved in theatrical productions attributes much to his love for theater and performing. After highschool he went on to study Theatre at Community College of Philadelphia, and later moved to NYC to further pursue his dreams, this led to a successful acting career. Synseer traveled around the Northeast region of the country performing in lead roles for theatre productions such as "One Hour to Live", "Killadelphia", and the Off-Broadway hit "Ghetto Chronicles". During this time Synseer continued to perform his own music at various venues. Despite his success and promising future as an actor, Synseer decided to leave it all behind to focus on his first love, which is music. This Rapper/Singer/Songwriter describes his music as "Hip-Pop- Soul." His musical influences range from Hip Hop Legend Nas, including inspirations from groundbreaking Gospel Artist Kirk Franklin, to Soul Sensation Patti Labelle.
Synseer is a phenomenal and unique talent that is going to take the music industry by storm. In case this is a first, you can expect that this wont be the last your hearing of this artist, because Synseer is definitely a star on the rise!
